How do you get an interview from MBB? I got referrals and they said my resume was good and I still got turned away without even an interview.

A recruiter sent my resume to A&M and they ignored them. I have 3 years FDD experience at a top national firm and am a CPA. The recruiters feedback to me was that they really prefer people with Big 4 experience. Should I reach out to one of A&M's recruiters directly? 2 of them added me on linkedin in the last few months. Also considering doing a stint at Big 4 for the resume boost.

Throughout the interview i felt he was looking down on me. I recently talked about this with a friend and he said generally ICAI and ICAP accounting members dont give ACCA students and important. It's hard commuting to the office sometimes, but it's worth it. I know that if I worked in an office every day, I'd get so much more done than if I was stuck at home all day doing nothing but playing video games and watching Netflix.

Lately I can’t stand when my husband talks in social situations. Since leaving the federal govt & joining consulting last year, I’ve already learned new skills + met some great people. I’ve also seen a few who are competitive to the point of toxicity. Just like the feds who’ve perfected laziness & stagnation...I feel sorry for them both. With the feds, they may not realize it, but they are rotting in place. For the hyper competitive consultants, nothing will ever be enough. For both, by the time they realize their error, it will be way too late.

It’s the one consistent feedback I get while casing , “to be more structured” I’m there for math ability , business logic , creativity.

I have a case interview coming up soon. I never thought about working with a case coach or study group that some websites offered but some people highly suggest them instead of working solo.
