Heading into busy season like
If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Feel comfortable with silence at times. Sometimes there is going to be a natural pause in the convo as your taking notes and that’s ok
I’ve found that it helps if you have some kind of familiarity with the person on the other side of the call. If you know 1 person on the receiving end, assume you’re speaking to that person alone.
If you don’t know anyone on the other side, take some time before the serious stuff to genuinely ask about something non-work related. Be yourself - don’t ask about something you don’t care to know about
Practice
go with the flow of the conversation. Also find out what the other people are interested in talking about, steer the conversation that way and then let them do most of the talking. If something isn't gets missed on the agenda but isn't that important let it slide and then just send a follow up email after the convo.

fake it til you make it.. only reason i’m surviving right now in PA. I have really bad anxiety and get very weird on calls and in person conversations in general. I just try to act confident and eventually it almost made me convince myself I was actually comfortable. also try to have notes or ideas prepped beforehand, practice beforehand if you are leading the calls, and overall do your best not to be caught off guard
Practice, call people regularly and talk to them. We used to call each other and ask for advice or ask each other about project details.
