Specially For HRs 😐
Hi guys
I am working in Tata Consultancy kolkata from past 3 years, planning to get transfer to TCS Bangalore(hometown). Will there be any issues if I provide fake medical certificate for my parents? Also now they are forcing me to come back to kolkata office, is there any possibly they may let me work from bangalore office even if my project ODC is not there in bangalore?

It happens. Remember the first objective is return OF your capital.
I also felt like a genius selling Tesla on a double after a few weeks this spring. Oh well.
I got stopped out of my calls on WORK the day before the CRM announcement. Took a 20% loss instead of nailing a 12x gain.
I’ve also had 8 other stock positions double or more on me this year. I’ve found some lessor known names like Evercore and Ameresco that have delivered more than 60% returns in just a few months. So you go find the next one and learn what you can from the experience.
Love it VP1

Learn the most from losing your first (100, 1000, 10000, etc.)
I mustn’t be learning... I’m yet to make a loss, well to be fair, ‘realize’ a loss. I’ve refuse to sell anything at least until it’s above my average cost per share. I’m sure I’ll make an exception to offset capital gains at some point 🤷♂️

I sold 50 shares of tesla at 300 before the stock split..
😢
I sold off my nvidia at 300 for a really nice gain right before the market Took a major dump. I thought maybe I should hold the position, but screw it; sometimes I just want my money to be real and get that easy. Made a few k, was pretty pleased with myself.
Welp, now it it’s at 530. Fml
I sold Nvidia at like 275 or less. But I at least made money. I finally bought it again a month or so ago, literally the day before it started dropping at 536 😭. But holding long term now!
I sold SQ at 6O NOW at 250 and ZS at 60 right after the recovery at cost because I thought there is no future for those companies in the short term.
SQ - 230+
NOW - 550
Zs - 191
This represents nearly 50k in gains. Each taught me a valuable lesson.
Luckily I hung on to SHOP, and rebought much smaller positions in these companies later and still made about
8k in gains.
Be happy that you made a profit. Then move onto the next stick. Or buy back the same stock with your profit and let it ride. It’s all profit, right? Lots of opportunities in the market, move on!
