Book recommendations for new executives?

McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Hiiii! I’ve been at my job for a year and a couple of months now & I’ve gotten rather bored because the work is repetitive, not challenging, and hasn’t really allowed me to learn or grow as much as I would’ve liked to. Given how I’m still paying a ton of money for my postgrad in Business Comms (that I haven’t really gotten the chance to use), I’ve been thinking of entering the world of consulting. Any word of advice? PwC McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group KPMG

Also working in any office setting, it’s super easy to touch your face/rest your chin in your hand when you’re at a desk/on a laptop. Bacteria + stress + hormones! Not a factor for everyone, but certainly at play when my skin is acting up.

It could be that you wash your face TOO much. 😬 I know that is a strange thought, but I don’t wash my face everyday (see context from other posts) and it also helps with the ~2 blemishes I experience a year.
Sometimes ‘over care’ is an aggressor.
I have honestly gotten neurotically into my skincare routine in the past two years, and it’s paid off. I also find it INCREDIBLY self-soothing to take care of my skin. I think when you’re doing something to yourself/your body/your face/your mind out of a place of love, and not strictly correction, it reminds you to be a little kinder to yourself on the whole.
I have one that pops up in the same. spot. every. time. So annoying.

Same.
I got off brith control, stoped wearing makeup everyday, made an effort NOT to touch my face during the day (twiddle hair or a pin if needed), and drank as much water as my system could handle!!
My skin improved beyond expectations. Seriously, stop wearing foundation everyday. I cannot express how much god it did for my physical and psychological well-being. If you need blush and mascara to feel human, that is fine.

I'm not sure because I've been on the bench and for the first time in years even more of a skincare freak and not wearing makeup and it has gotten WORSE. Also only on my chin which was never a hot spot. Going to the Derm on Monday, will respond if there is something of note.

Thanks! The derm I saw prescribed a $400 cream so I didn’t fill it. I didn’t know until it was processed.
Wash the winter scarves too. And the coat if it covers your face. That’s what has helped me in the past.
I started getting a lot of acne on my chin when I turned 28 and tried every type of skin care regimen. Finally went to the dermo and he prescribed me spironolactone and tretinon. Since using it for 1.5 months, haven’t had a breakout. Dermo said that 50% of his patients are women in their late 20s-30s who have the same chin acne and that it’s mostly hormonal

Spiro works great at blocking androgen receptors. But I am skeptical about affects on fertility. Though they say your system resets couple months after you stop it.

Oh yea? How do you know it was zinc that did it?
I have zinc! I’ll take some

I get regular extractions done at a skin place and they help get rid of the stubborn acne. And in between extractions I just follow a simple skin care routine the same clinic recommended.

It’s sold by the skin studio but am sure you can get a cheaper version. Deionized water, glycerin and Aloe Vera are main ingredients and it is paraben free. Just serves as extra moisture.
