Hi all,
I've 3+ years of experience in IT. Works as BI Analyst. Have around 6.22LPA as base salary and around 7.22LPA as CTC. Can you please suggest how much hike should I ask for so that figure will not sound irrelevant? I'm thinking of 11+ but have also seen people having 5.8LPA getting 11+ in DI. Will it be appropriate if I ask for 12+ in first shot? Deloitte India
I have a 90% hold rate. This works for me:
Before you get off of the call, tell them to make sure to accept the Google invite once they get it so you know that it’s received.
**After you book the meeting, send a recap email with 3-4 name drops of similar companies/portfolios. And with a link to a good case study from your company website.**
**Then, the day before the meeting send a very short email with:
“hey (name),
looking forward to chatting with you more tomorrow.
We will go over how (name of your company) can (value prop) and (value prop)!
In the meantime, here’s another case study. (Include link)
Talk soon,
Lastly, right before the meeting (like 3-5 minutes before), send a direct zoom meeting link “for their convenience”.
Oh yes!! I do that too! I forgot to add that. Thank you!
You already got some great suggestions! I would also question whether the client knows why THEY NEED to speak with YOU. It sounds to me like they don’t realise how much value you will add. You may need to qualify a bit more. Good luck! You got this!
Well we’re in the end of Q4 right now so that could also have something to do with it but taking in all the above points
Usually when this happens that means the other side isn’t seeing any value here which comes down to: yu didn’t qualify good enough, you don’t have the decision maker or need to include some other people in this call, you haven’t dug deep enough to really find the problem (it could be A and B but you only brought up A),
You should always ask them at the end of the call “would there be any reason you can’t make this meeting?” Make then actually think about it. Do you know how many people say “yeah let’s do Tuesday, sounds good.” And they did not even check their calendar? We all do it casually and professionally.
At the end of each call freaking ask them hey Joe so I’ll be seeing you at 2 pm on Tuesday, do me a favor real quick and grab a pen, my name is “Trevor Cassidy” just in case you forget me you can reach me at 877-cash-now
Any reason you couldn’t make this? Can you check your calendar for me?
The harder and more direct you are with customers the more they will respect you and your time
Love this thank you!!
There's a few ways to do it:
- Before you hang up the call, send the calendar invite to the prospect and get them to confirm the event.
- Add [CONFIRMED] in the beginning of the event name, followed by the client's first name. This does something psychologically and works well.
- Make sure you have text message and email notifications 24 hours before the event and the day of the event.
- Prior to the event you can email them (as an excuse to nudge) if there's anyone else they'd like to add to the call.
