How do you guys feel about creatives being forced into selling / sales as they progress in their career?

Has anyone here worked with a career coach before? I’m thinking that I might need one. I’ve switched jobs every year or year and a half since I graduated in 2015. I get extremely bored at around the one year mark. Right now I’m working at amazing company but I do so much transactional stuff and I’m SO bored. The company is really small so there’s no much else I can do except leave. And I hate the idea of it.

I keep getting feedback from managers and interviewers that I am strong in product strategy and business mindset, but weak in technical skills despite my CS undergrad and 2 YOE as a software engineer. Granted I have not coded in many years but I am knowledgable enough to understand and discuss technical questions with my dev team. what should be the expected level of technical knowledge?

Hi community! I finally managed to connect with Google Sourcer on LinkedIn who’s willing to spend time tmw and speak about open roles. I have 8 years of consumer sales exp + recent 2.5 years of Digital Pharma Marketing exp (agency) + MBA I just earned.

Hi! I’m running a startup after work for this neat web app idea for the last year and although we’re still building it, I feel like I’ve learned and directly applied the product management role. And I love it! My question is: should I list this as experience in my resume? I want to do this full time at a real tech company to get more experience just not sure if it would be helpful to get noticed. Currently F100 internal consulting for five years.

Any PMs make the jump from advertising to healthcare or tech? Or any advice on how to break into those industries? I currently have 6 years experience in the digital/creative space and am extremely burnt out. Looking for normal hours, less toxicity and politics and to get my life back. 😭

I have an experience of near 6 years and I have an offer from JPMC and Pepsico. There's a difference of 5-6 LPA. Pepsico is paying more which is basically a variable component. In Pepsico, project/product development will start from scratch. Though JPMC is an established brand name. Which company should I join? Any suggestions and advice are most welcome.
