Spotify in a hiring freeze?
I was in the final rounds for a job and the recruiter reached out saying it was paused and hiring is slowing down. Can anyone at Spotify speak to what’s going on there? Is this expected to last for a while? I was really excited about the role and felt like it was mine to lose.
Thanks 🙏

No animals in the office imo. I'm a dog lover and have 4, but there are plenty of people with allergies and dog phobias.
The good dogs at work are fun to have around for petting during the day and saying hi. The not great dogs are annoying AF and ruin it for everyone.
I love dogs. I brought one of mine to work a couple of times but found it distracting. I am as worried about what he was doing and whether he was comfortable or bothering others instead of working.
Right. When I brought my dog to the office, I was so worried about being the annoying dog owner that I was distracted making sure he was quiet and comfortable and behaving. At home, he’s just doing his normal stuff, hanging in his bed, looking out the window, etc. so I am not worried about all of that.
This is a human problem not a dog problem. No one should be bringing an un-house broken or untrained dog into a shared office space.
I occasionally bring my dog in but he is quiet, well trained, and I let everyone who sits around me know he’s coming (the first time I brought him I asked everyone if that was okay).
I think it's a nightmare waiting to happen. What if someone is allergic or has a fear of dogs? What if that otherwise well-behaved dog suddenly snaps one day and bites someone? Imagine the legal ramifications??? I mean, it sounds nice in theory, but I would never go for it as a business owner.
I love dogs so no trouble for me
How is working at Airbnb?
Imo it's asinine. The workplace at the end of the day is to get work done lol -- the only exceptions would be for people who have disabilities.
