About tired of the agency “life” thinking about going to the client side and being the one who gets catered to! I’m done babysitting unreasonable clients! How to make the jump, blights welcome.
Currently in a rotational program at EY (first year out of undergrad). Got placed on a long term risk project and wondering if it’s worth it staying long term. Currently interviewing for the strategy team at a legacy payments company (think visa or Mastercard) and wondering if it’ll stifle growth doing internal consulting. Would definitely appreciate any insights on this as I’m not too sure who who talk to and ask. Thanks!
Client I’m on is a nightmare for creatives. A campaign we’ve worked on for a year was just cancelled for no good reason. Happens constantly. Are we all in a doomed profession? Was it always this way?
How do you deal with/ confront an account person who keeps the client relationship entirely to themselves and keeps other teammates out of important client convos?
Any big Pharma companies hiring for tech project manager remote roles for system implementation?

Need advice on what is appropriate to bring up to my manager. My project is wrapping up soon. The last month or so I have felt incredibly burnt out and depressed. I’m not sure if it’s been (contd)
We are here to guide clients: but this is not always the case when your client believes they are the target audience for their product. How do you convince them that they are not and trust the agency?
getting rolled off a bad project early because of a bad fixed budget celebrate with me please 🥂 🍾 🎉
Two weeks into a 2 months projects and the client has pushed me out of the project because of "budget constraints". I do not have a problem with it except that my instincts are telling me there were racial motivations with the move. Has anyone here experienced this type of thing and how do you deal with it 'cause it's getting my head?
What to do when your counselor is also your stream lead on the project, and he wouldn’t let you roll off because you’re top performer. I’m over one year in on this multi year implementation project
Got an offer to be an Associate Brand Manager client side at an entertainment company (you’ve heard of them). Worried I’ll be forever stuck in ridiculously expensive coastal cities.
TC consulting: reason why I like strategy projects better than implementations- once you are done with the proj you hand over the decks to client and leave. In implementation projs im always asked...
Just sharing a story. Thanks to months of therapy I have finally become brave enough to quit in May, when my current project is over.
After a year long , exhausting and demanding project , finally rolled off the project. I love my life right now. Beach time is the best time 🌊:-) sigh !!!
I'm probably going to get an offer for a job with better work life balance and I don't know whether to take it. I have young kids and I find the firm culture difficult, but I really like my project.

Can any 🐠’s recommend a case study book for a non-mbaer? Looking for a book to teach on methodologies and how to approach business case studies.

How are you guys preparing for next year? I'm thinking of of using Facebook ads to generate seminar invites in hopes of replacing mailing. Doesn't cost much to try and see if I get any benefits
PwC will be giving out a retention bonus and if don’t get one, what motivation do I really have to work here instead of jumping ship to another B4? Having said that, does anyone know when we find out if we qualify for a retention bonus?
What are salary expectations after an year or after promotion to sa as an associate? Just got an associate offer from kpmg strategy, comp is 74+5. Thanks!
In a panel interview, What kind of questions do you ask associates at the end of an interview? I am prepared with questions for the partners, but what do you really ask the senior associates in the team?
If I open up a survey capturing the anonymized data of fishbowl bankers, what data would you like to see? Salary, position, age, years in banking, satisfaction of worklife, etc
With the new cohort system does PDubs match offers that are outside of the cohort range? Say if I'm an SA3 and am offered manager at another Big 4; would they match the offer?
Best quote from the movie Office Space that can actually be used in some form on a client deck. I need something to break the monotony.
Currently interviewing with BRG in their Turnaround and Restructuring division and was wondering if anyone knew whether their compensation structure is similar to A&M's, as in the bonus being tied as a % to your billable / utilization rate? And if so, are there restrictions of any kind, like it starts applying after you hit a title, etc?
If you had an opportunity to name your salary and set your billable hours, what would be the ideal ratio per month? Say for example your hourly rate is 400.
One of my team members has excellent technical skills but is constantly passed up for promotion because his English is subpar. Is there any way I can help him?
Got offers out of undergrad in tech consulting from PwC and Deloitte. Accenture interview next week. Thoughts on which one I should go for?
Plan on moving to Dallas Texas next year. Currently with Deloitte MTS team and will be a senior at that time. Im wondering how the culture of the office is there? Also, how is the culture of the other firms. Im not opposed to moving firms. Just finished working three 80 hour weeks, so that would be a big plus to find a team where that is not expected on a regular basis!
