How do you handle a lazy manager in food industry? 😂

This would depend on where you are positioned within the company.

If you are working for a restaurant that is worth working for, they will have a reporting policy/procedure for these types of issues. Follow it to the letter. Run up the chain of command and file a formal complaint. Encourage any other staff members to also file complaints as well. They will get addressed, and the manager will be spoken to about it.

If you managing alongside this person, try talking to them directly about it from a place of compassion and desire to build a better work environment. If that doesn't work, talk to whomever is above you and you'll all have to discuss it together.

If this person is an owner, or related to the owner...get the Hell out of there as soon as you can. Nothing will change, and it's only going to get worse if you make a complaint.

Depends on what you mean by handle. How are they getting on your way?

If your manager is the owner, there are very slim odds that they'll care what you have to say about them. You just deal with it for as long as you need to until you find a better job

is their laziness keeping you from doing your job? It might be discouraging to see them be so uncaring but if this doesn't reflect on your personal performance then it's not really up to you to fix other people's self-destructive habits

There are different possible routes depending on your role there, what are you working as at the moment?

Is there anyone above them that you can reach out to and bring it to their attention? Make a list of grievances and have your coworkers report the behavior as well.

I need some advice please. I made it to the final round of interviews for a Product Owner position. Since I’ve been dealing with rejection for almost two years of getting into Product does anyone have any tips to ace the interview? Also my goal is PM. Do you think a move from PO to PM is obtainable? I’ve done some research and according to Marty Cagan the PO & PM should be one individual. To this end is the PO position seen as redundant? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Q for HR folks! For companies who have offices in US and Canada, how easy would it be for American HR team to set up a role & compensation via the Canadian office for a Canadian remote worker? Would be a lot of work? But i know companies like Meta and Spotify do do this.

I'm Canadian and applied to a US remote role. Canadians don't need a visa for this. One of the ways would be to use Canadian entity's hr/payroll services. They showed keen interested but waned since finding out I'm Canadian.
