Anybody who lives in one state, but whose home office or major client is in another state? How does that work for tax purposes? As far as my weekly check goes, would state and local taxes go to my home state or the state where my main client is?

A recruiter for a company that I was excited to work for has ghosted on me (it’s been a week since they have given me updates). I’ve been told that things are delayed bc several key folks are on vacation atm.

How should I approach this situation? Several other companies I’m interviewing with is reaching final rounds, but tbh I’m not as interested in those roles. Plus I’m getting antsy being unemployed for several weeks since I was laid off.

So basically the only thing I find appealing about PE is money (judge all you want but I’m sure I’m not alone) - I don’t like excel, or finance, or math. And I just got an offer for a PE role in an industry that I don’t love and with 3 fewer weeks of vacation than my current role (I really value vacation time)... idk would I be a total idiot to pass up the chance to break into PE? Long term goal is to marry rich and retire young lol.

Just interviewed with a firm and it seems great. I was told that although associates are given an annual billing requirement, the firm focuses more on your “receipts” rather than hours billed. I understood that to mean that the firm is more focused on whether or not your client pays your invoice. Has anyone worked for a firm like this?

Are all the other certifications within Workday as difficult as the HCM? Or are the others relatively easier to obtain after a bit of project experience?

I have a doubt : is it a usual process in LTI to have client round after HR interview ? I was told there would be only 2 rounds And during salary & project discussion , HR informed me there would be one client round sometime later - the project is on-site. I’m not sure if the offer letter will be released before or after that. Please help if anyone has experience on that.

Briefly, I struggled through seven miserable years of teaching until I finally got asked back by a school in 2019. My classroom management was disastrous; I knew it, but couldn't seem to fix it.
Then I took a seminar, and got better. It really was that simple, though of course I'm still learning.
So, can classroom management be taught? I believe so, but no one else seems to agree.
