How do you handle phone interviews that are scheduled for when you're at the client...

I’m currently working on my first UX project for an online course and I like my topic but I don’t know if it’s too much or impractical. I don’t want to waste my time but I think it’s a solid idea🤷‍♀️. If anyone is willing to hear it out before I start that’d be nice.

Hi, I recently read "How to crack PM interview" book. It will written that for a person with no prior experience in PM should build a mobile app to showcase the skills. I have CS degree so it won't be hard to me to build an app. What are your thoughts on this? Will it be helpful or should I do some beginners certification like Foundations of Prince2/ Certified Associate Project Manager (PMP)?

Leaving a biglaw shop at end of the year. A client that I've worked with, and who has liked my work, reached out to me (a senior associate, copying all clients but copying no partners or other personnel from my firm) to ask if I could handle a new matter. They asked for a conflicts check and what my billable rate might be in the new year. I'm departing to a new, much smaller firm which will most likely have a much lower rate. How do you approach this? Alert the typical partners?

We’re good friends and work together constantly because we’re on the same client, so I don’t want to make it awkward. Do I just do nothing and let it go? Last year I started funding my Roth IRA through Vanguard in a Target Retirement Funds. After reading a few post about the tax disadvantage of using a Target Retirement Funds, I am thinking I need to shake things up. Would you suggest moving the funds in Mutual Funds, such as VTSAX?
