Yeah there are plenty of strategies to get the convo moving. I know because plenty of people have done it to me which makes me aware for the future

If it’s a group meeting then you’re not the only person who noticed. Id mention it to someone a rank up who you’re close to and they’ll probably agree and tell that person to be more mindful

Disagree. Interrupt if someone is rambling. Frame it as a question "so if i can clarify for my understanding, are you saying we should do XYZ?"
I’ve seen it worked when another person comes off mute and calls the non-stop speaker’s name firm and twice (with 2 seconds in between), without saying anything else. The speaker would usually finish the current sentence and then wait for the other person to speak.

I've seen this happen on client side. VIP on client side interrupted someone who was giving us a Long ramble and just said their name firmly and loud and everything just went silent for a few seconds before the person wrapped it up. Made me laugh but was certainly effectice
