Ask to share dessert then hurry and eat as much as you can
You don't. You say "let's be healthy" and put it on yourself. "Let's go to the gym together", "let's do a marathon together and train together", "let's eat paleo together", etc.
I would think eating desert would make you thinner actually. That sand has a dessicating property
My wife says that very sentence.
Well, step 1 is to create a good Tinder profile because you will need one after this conversation.
Recognize that you have bought into a slanted narrative that excessively vilifies overweight people. Consider the real reasons why you feel personally upset by someone else's decisions: worry about health? Worry for loss of social status? Deeply ingrained preconceptions? Proceed from there.
MYOB
C1, I disagree with you entirely. If I find someone unattractive, sex will not be as enjoyable. I'm not vilifying fat people, I just have my own preferences. All down to include everyone in everything else, but my bedroom is my choice.
I'm sure they realize it. Not really your place to tell someone else what to eat.
Don't. Set an example for your SO, be more active and make balanced choices. Make changes to how you spend time together - take your SO to long walks and rock climbing to get your SO to move. Be tactful. I don't know the story but if there's one you want your SO to be mindful when this happens to you and not sit you down and have a conversation about your weight.
@ATK1 I literally said nothing about any of the things you mention, nor do we even know if OP is talking about a significant other, a friend, a colleague, etc. All I talked about is that there's an outsized (no pun intended) amount of animosity towards overweight people, the reasons for which often go unexamined. This is independent of whether you're talking about potential sexual partners or just in general.
Just say it like it is. What's with all this not being direct. I would be offended if someone sugar coated sentences to me.
I think OP meant how to have this conversation with a team member
My mom told me that after freshman year of college. I changed pretty quickly.
Change the order. Eat desert first and abort entree. Lol
Is this a SO?
A 150 years ago, fat was in because rich people could afford three meals a day and were rather bigger than the rest of the populace (and likely lived longer). All about the environment/ context.
