I'm a financial services audit manager (going to be a 2nd year manager in 2 weeks) and looking to transition into corporate/operational FP&A. My long term goal is to become a CFO so I believe that I will need more finance exposure which I don't really get with my current role. Any thoughts how difficult to get an FP&A job with this experience and whether I can get an FP&A manager title? Also, can anyone share the WLB and work hours in FP&A?

It feels like my pay and title are lower than my scope of duties. I manage Youtube channels and do all strategy, planning, talent management, rework content for socials, reporting, graphic design, + a bunch of other stuff. Do you think I should be something like Video Content Manager? A Strategist maybe? My company doesn't have career pathing & I think they'd be happy to keep giving me more work with the same pay. First 8 weeks as an Associate after jumping from Big4:

Pros - super smart/driven colleagues, more unique/interesting work, more ownership, benefits are awesome, traveling frequently, more technical work, more frequent feedback

Cons - hours are worse, much faster timelines, having to learn the BCG way quickly, much higher expectations, less ability to choose cases

Overall very happy with the switch so far - happy to answer any questions!
