How many of you have taken HubSpot Academy's free certification courses, and what value have you gotten out of them?

Yesterday I had the worst interview with a small firm. This man (plaintiff PI) and his wife (office manager and RN) began the interview process by testing my Spanish skills by speaking to me in Spanish only. Then, transitioned to English when I passed. He couldn’t understand how I took 6 months off from work. His wife asked if I had any children. They asked if I thought my defense background brought any value to the plaintiff atty position (more in comments section)

This weekend I accidentally sent an email to OC that was supposed to go to the client. I didn’t have the clients email and only had the OCs email, but I still should have double checked before sending. It ended up not being a huge deal bc it was a mostly agreed upon settlement agreement and my senior associate and partner walked me through a follow up email to OC. They were pretty cool about it, but I can’t stop cringing. How do I try to move forward and not feel totally idiotic about this??

While my boss is very sensitive to sexism, he often reminds me that I am only a 2nd year, and that sometimes people (attorneys in our firm, outside co-counsel, opposing counsel) treat me differently in accordance with my experience level, rather than because of my gender.
