If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

They ask questions. They don't pretend to know it all. Like, you're 3 weeks into the job. You know you don't know. I know you don't know. Just be honest and ask good questions. Red flag for me is when I tell them to do something a certain way, they say sure and don't do it. Or they delay a meeting to get coffee. It's fine after 6 months or a year of working together, but not your first month.
IMO top performers are consistent from project to project. Lots of people will do a good job some of the time. Top performers do a good job all of the time.

You should compare them to other employees to determine if they are a top performer. I would look to see if they do a better job than their peers
