Looking for advice on Project Manager certifications to open future leadership and PM opportunities.

My role continually seems to be more of a hybrid Project Manager and anything under IT Infrastructure and Support. I manage our support team, our infrastructure build out contractors, and continually build out out projects in JIRA and our (lack of) IT documentation in Confluence.

Should I consider a PMP or other cert? What advice would prepare me for further advancement as a Director or VP?

What I did was summarize my main expertise and who I helped. Then I have a bulleted list indicating how I can help. I also added a few quotes I remembered from VPs I’ve worked for. My district board voted to remove the mask mandate last week when cases were increasing. Now most of the students and a large number of teachers are unmasked. Today we were notified that someone in our school tested positive for the first time since the mandate ended and I’m terrified. School won’t give us any information as to who it was or if they were masked. Please pray that our superintendent and board get some sense knocked into them and reinstate it.

Creative Circle made me meet them in person at their office, fill out their paper work, called all my references only to blast me daily with junior level roles. I’m a fool. I’m a fool in man’s shoes.

Lel. So I've had a pretty awful 2020 and every single time I want to do something relaxing someone in my family decided to do some pain in the ass thing to screw it up. Usually it's my mom and her condescending comments but yesterday my grandmother fell when it was just her and me at home and decided that 'god was going to help her up' and started screaming her head off to god asking for help. Have a technical background and am thinking of starting to look for exits to industry but also am curious what strategy projects are and if I would be interested in the work.
