Also, I got lucky and was offered a spot when I wasn’t sure I was ready, but was ok taking the leap. I learned most of this pretty fast and as I went, but it’s a shift in mentality from doing the work to leading.
This response is confusing to me because there will always be A business to support it, so what are the skill sets you look for when promoting someone from AS to AD to help manage that business?

When the business is there to support it, you are independently leading complex accounts and there is a need.
