Drink water. A lot of water. A Lot. Buy the 1L CamelBak with the straw and fill it up twice before lunch and twice after. Gives you an excuse to walk around, haha.
If you wear makeup, you're going to need to exfoliate at least once or twice a week
I wish I had enough time to care about how I looked. I worked 60 hours Monday to Thursday and my MD still tells me more is expected.
Besides drinking lots of water, I invested in a good anti aging treatment and use it religiously. Swear by the Sunday riley products. Clarisonic twice a week and always remove the make up before you sleep. Tada!
We need a section on this- it gets asked a lot. I definitely have a solid routine for my skin that involves cleansers, toners, serums, lotions, masks, retin-a. See a derm to figure out what works for you. Hair, just try not to wash too much. Other key is trying to control how much you stress and take care of your body (e.g., get some exercise). Meditation is helpful with the former.
Oh also, after you wash, seal with an essential/natural oil. Coconut oil, tea tree oil, lavender oil, etc. Try to limit the amount of non-natural products that you use. I always use the guideline of using only what I'd be comfortable ingesting
Water, water, water
I started seeing a therapist and, on my own, I'm recording an oral diary. Skin wise, this helps channel the stress, so my breakouts start to calm down
Yoga and water have been helping with stress. I don't know wtf has been up with my skin lately. Full of zits all around my mouth. Look like a hooker with herpes 🙄
Hi. Beauty freak here. Water, water, water. No dairy. First take makeup off with grape seed oil. Skip if no makeup. Then foreo Luna for cleansing with a gentle but effective cleanser like avene. Then: biologique recherche p50 lotion or alternate with C serum. Then, moisturizer mixed with argan oil. I also regularly get laser facials. Yes, I do this even at 2 am. It is a ritual that I enjoy and I'm not blessed with good skin naturally.
Water, exercise, clean eating and meditation do the job to prevent the stress and build resilience. On the beauty routine, I never go outside without 50 SPF, use good exfoliator once a week, vitamin C serum -1-3 times a week, hydrating mask (have been very bad on that end lately, but just putting hydrating cloth mask on face when going to bed works instant miracles) and own a decent moisturizer with hyaluronic acid
@Strategy& Great choices! Love biologique recherche line and my foreo luna. I'm been using tamanu oil and it worked miracles, need to try argan
