At my fund, we typically offer more than 2 weeks to not burn bridges - and be candid about the conversation. If you are changing city, can use that as a cover too - which is the most popular cover story we give since we are not in NYC

If it’s like XYZ offered me a VP spot with some carry and a significant raise and you passed on my promotion 2 months ago… then it’s pretty easy.
