There are a few things that you can do to care for your feet after standing all day. One is to soak your feet in a warm bath with Epsom salts. This will help to soothe the pain and inflammation.
You can massage your feet with a cream or oil that contains menthol or peppermint to help you relieve the tension and pain. I've been doing this for years and I swear by it.
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and socks when you're working and even more when you're not. Invest in some good quality work shoes, and you should feel better wearing them.
I take a break every hour to walk around and stretch my feet. I also make sure to drink plenty of water to avoid water retention and swelling.
You can take a break every so often to give your feet and legs some rest. You can also ice your feet or put them in a cold bath when you're home.
Soak in warm.water with Epsom salts
Compression socks. They will save you.
