With the current market boom, what should be MINIMUM pay for 5 year Fullstack developer (java+react). Ps: while I know that there can be several other factors as well in order to answer this question, I am looking for market standard. Like: Yoe*3/4/5 or something like that. Before covid, it used to be Yoe*2.5 which was considered as good package. Target companies: Big4, WITCHA (And not FAANG, OR Walmart, etc) :) Deloitte KPMG EY Accenture PwC Cognizant ZS Associates etc

what about young professional groups that may do virtual events?
Get a hobby that isn’t drinking alone in your apartment?
After watching the different reactions to the past 2 years, I cannot imagine living somewhere like that ever again. My vote is that you move somewhere better

Move somewhere with a lot of young people. You straight up aren’t going to meet many similar people where you are.

Start looking for local remote events - I've recently joined a local bookclub that is currently meeting over zoom, and my partner and i did a virtual whiskey tasting hosted by a local theatre that was us and 2 other couple on the zoom. Also once the weather warms up you can find outdoor social distancing things - maybe a hiking or biking group, or even just post on your neighborhood Facebook page looking for walking buddies.
Small town standoffishness aside, it’s just going to be harder to make friends until COVID settles down, and I imagine it’s kinda like this everywhere now (except like, Florida...). I’d find a small, focused, regularly meeting class/volunteer group/club and take heart that it can only get better (right?)! Keep at it :)

Is there a fitness studio with classes you like? Or cooking, crafting, whatever hobby classes that you could try?

It’s nice to live in a neighborhood with similar people, if possible an apartment? Also keeping in touch with out of town friends and having them visit when feasible. I’m also surprised at how many work friends I’ve made despite being new to the city I live in!

Gym membership. Whole Foods produce section. Meet up group. Place of worship? Barnes&Noble - go to that book section you like. Start with the Next Door app and see what you’re working with.
