Hard without specific scenarios but here's some general advice - when you send them your work, copy your boss on the email. "Hi, John - here's the document I made / research I found / conversation I had or agreement I made with the creative team / timeline I adjusted for you / blah blah. Let me know if you have any questions."
If it’s in a meeting I would jump in after he does it and say “I’m so glad you liked the idea I was sharing with you earlier” or if it’s tangible output “I’m glad to hear you think so highly of my work. I put a lot of thought into...” and call out something specific

That sucks and sorry that’s happening to you, most annoying thing ever. That being said, people usually have a way of figuring out who really did the work... especially when it comes to answering questions. Always jump in and provide context/background. Shows you know your info, did the work, and don’t have to throw anyone under the bus.
