How do you negotiate for more PTO? About to head into my first negotiations for compensation and would appreciate any tips!

Any advice for getting started with / pursuing clients for PR freelancing as a side gig? I’m at an agency doing beauty PR full-time, but have been consulting on the side with small clients for a few years as opportunities arise. The extra cash has been nice and I’m finding myself wanting to ramp up freelance work until I can make a cushier salary (I’m currently AS level). My biggest concerns: I feel like a lot of brands, especially in beauty, are so skeptical of PR, and/or don’t have budget.

Any ideas on total comp for Director level (debt advisory and restructuring) at Oppenheimer? Brother-in-law acting like he’s making serious bank - just curious if true.
