How do you pitch to potential clients in non professional / social settings? What approaches have worked for you?

Form a friendship and find common ties then play it slow. Listen to what they have to say, through casual conversation listen for their financial problems and then offer them your professional advice.

Agreed. Plus they should notice that you spend a lot of time thinking about these issues and that it’s part of you as a person at that point, which is a sales pitch in itself

Admit it’s a social setting and not the best time to get into it, so you’ll call them later that week.

Wouldn’t work.

Scenario was this: was asked to be a practice model for a beautician doing facials, the beautician was a C list celeb with her own tv show and a lot of revenue streams.

How would you ‘pitch’ both if she asked what you did for a living and also if she didn’t?

By all accounts there is still over 100% of float currently shorted. As much as WS loooves to liken themselves to 🐂, they're just the 🤡 in the bullpen. You rode the dip and kept buying. We are going into Monday fully-tanked up on liquid fuel.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.
