Left consulting for tech, and feeling somewhat unfulfilled. Job isn’t shaping up as it was sold. WLB and pay are excellent but clearly at least for me that isn’t everything.

Consulting lifestyle is harder now though since i’m in my 30s and wife is pregnant. We also have a puppy who demands a lot of time. I don’t see how to make the consulting lifestyle work.
