Im in the final round of interviews at VMware and news came on Monday that they are being acquired by Broadcom. Is this something that I should be concerned about? I know layoffs can happen after a merger/acquisition but there’s not much overlap between the two companies (chipmaker vs cloud infrastructure). My job will be a Sr Business Analyst role in internal strategy/improvement Any advice from folks experienced in M&A?
I’m a newer registered nurse (2 years) and want to get into remote work. I keep getting denied due to lack of experience but to even get the job I have now (case manager) the company knew one of my family members and they gave me a chance to interview because of that. For these remote companies where I don’t have connections how can I transition over?
What should I expect from the partner level values interview at Guidehouse? And please refrain from comments such as “run the other way” lol
Hi Fishes, Me being an introvert, finding it extremely difficult to perform in interviews.Sometimes I feel it's an automatic barrier to have a successful interview.I find it hard to engage in conversation with new people due to lack of confidence.Because I always prefer writing/texting over talking.Sometimes I don't even pick up the phone calls for interviews.I have received more than 100 interview invitations and have not attended one due to performance anxiety and fear. How do I get a job now😕?

Not a little update about projects by Hr & also not a single interview is scheduled since then .it seems there are 400 employees like me. These things are making me nervous . Just had a second round interview and when I asked about next steps, the interviewer told me he plans to recommend me for the final round. This is a large consulting firm that’s notorious for moving slowly with interviews - when asking the recruiter for his email address for a thank you note, should I mention that my interviewer said he’d recommend me for the next round?
I got my offer with Cognizant around 45days back but my BGV turned to be red due to the feedback from my 1st employment (worked around a year back) as of now HR is saying he is discussing with management and mostly my offer may get dropped off (as per his statement). Now again I got a call for an interview and didn't showed them my previous exp so my question is can I attend this interview or it will again cause any problem? Please help with your answer or experience

I have an upcoming FDD interview with a case study. I know that the case would involve stuff like Quality of earning , EBITDA…etc. but does anyone know specifically how I can prepare for them? I tried googling it but can’t seem to find anything on what the case interview may look like… would really appreciate it if someone can share some advices or tips on how I can prepare for the case interview effectively. Thanks!!
There are a lot of really smart candidates I’ve been casing with who’re prepping for interviews at MBB. What separates a good candidate from a great one though? At the moment I don’t feel like my case performance is differentiated (although I’ve only started preparing). Will most of those great candidates I’ve cased with on rocket blocks get an offer assuming that’s a particular subset of people who’re really preparing for it / wanting it?
What does it mean when an HR person calls and tells you, after one day of freelance designing in a brand new studio, that you thought was going to be an interview, “You are not the right fit for us?”

Deloitte donated $5,000 to that racist woman in Mississippi. Many other companies have asked for their donations back. Who can I reach out to in order to encourage D to do the same?
What sort of silly things are Ph.D. consultants are known for when they first get started ? Anyone with first hand experience ?
Oh McKinsey... not sure that being “online at 5:30am, but rarely after 9pm” counts as providing work-life balance to working mothers.
The most humbling activity is getting your affairs in order because you’re just that sick.

Is it only MBB and Big 4 on here? Checkin
I feel as though the big 4 have so much administrative stuff to take care of cause we have the accounting arms, do MBB or boutique consulting firms have to worry about as many e-learnings & shit?
Why do so many 🐠 seem to hate the profession but continue to do it? I personally have no complaints and feel privileged to be able to do what we do. Plenty of ppl would kill to be in our position.
