Currently a Senior 2 at the Big 4 and am considering making the transition into industry. I was hoping to land a PE fund accounting role but would ultimately have to accept a fund accounting role at a Credit Shop because I don’t have direct PE experience. If I leave now will I still be able to transition into a PE shop in the future? Or should I stick it out and try to get placed on a PE engagement at my current firm after busy season and then take a stab at the market from there?

Which offices / regions are heavily hiring MBAs right now? Is there also a hiring frenzy outside the US?
