I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Apart from Fidelity, I'd like to point that SOFI Invest did not restrict any stock and was relatively stable today.

I don't actually use it that much, but interface is slick and it's very user friendly. The only thing though is that they don't have option trading.

Real talk: how long does it take you to review and provide comments to an agreement.. say a Stock Purchase Agreement (I know these vary wildly)? I recently found an invoice in which 1.5 hours was charged for reviewing/ adding comments/ revising to a full set of VC financing documents. I don’t think that work could be completed in such short a period of time, if doing a thorough job. I really don’t want to be slow at my work and need to know the appropriate time spend. Thoughts???

I know who the hiring manager is but have yet to connect with them but I am worried my application will get lost in the shuffle.

So I'm interviewing, have had loose salary conversation (talked about band but not specifics), and approaching the official offer stage. It's become clear the role is something I'm very well qualified for, but their pay expectations for the role are much lower than mine. How do I ask if I could be considered for a higher level position in the team in a higher salary band instead?

I originally asked for 180-200k base salary since it's a director level role and I'm coming with ~9 YOE. They said that is at the very top of their budget so I'm looking for tips on how to navigate that conversation and if that comp seems reasonable?
