How do you properly answer a question in the interview process where you don’t have experience in that specific thing you are asked about but other than that you have experience in everything else they ask.

Recently attended an interview from one of the top IT firms . I'd never seen any such worst process in any of my life .
Since I'd attended an interview long back i was surprised to receive this call and HR informed me that I'll be having a HR round and the day comes i joined the call ( literally they didn't even ask a single HR question and it was completely about TR) when I reached out to HR . I was told this was a TR + MR
Whose mistake is this ? wasn't their job to inform us properly about?

Why is this a problem with the GOP?

I am currently a practice manager for a large practice that is in 3 states with over 300 locations. When I was promoted 3 years ago it was to take the place of the DOO that resigned, who was making 6 figures, and doing a quarter of the work that I do. They have me at $63,000 salary, but I work 60-70 hours a week due to the work load. Now they hired a new marketing employee, that was started at double my salary, and I feel very offended by this. CEO has alluded to me being a great CoS based on recent exp, and longer term COO and has asked if I’m going to find the EA role limiting. Do I address my interest in the CoS role, plus gaps in my experience or do I focus on the EA role and finding opps to add value outside of EA responsibilities without stepping on the CoS toes? I really want to work for this CEO & don’t want to talk myself out of the EA job

What should I ask a new potential employer on an interview?

5 rounds of interviews and final interview case study and I get the dreaded thanks, but no thanks email and feedback that I did have the desired experience for the role. Why take up 6 weeks of my and their teams time? I am amazed by the amount of “waste” and “cost” an agile / lean company would burn through on a candidate they see as unsatisfactory. I Meh!

After my third interview, the HR manager said they will be in touch with me for the last round of interviews with VP. They were waiting for her to come back from a vacation. They never reached and it has been 2 weeks! I would like to send a follow-up email. What do you think and what should I say?
