Speak up even though nothing may change for a while. About the achieving part try to look at the big picture: we do not perform open heart surgeries (not that I’m aware of), work is work and you are moving forward in your career anyway. It’s ups and downs in this magnificent crazy world that is consulting, and more ups will be coming your way, especially if you won’t be afraid to speak up and be upfront about your situation!

Looking for guidance/advice, please. Been at Sapient for 10+ years in Financial Services. Salary: $170k Bonus: <10% I have never broken >$180k TC here. YOE: 17 Loc: NYC Domain: Product, Project Management, Lean-Agile Hard time to jump ship — if I don’t get laid off first. But what TC could I be looking at if I were fortunate enough to get a new job? Assuming, a non consulting role. In 2017, a hedge fund floated $300k TC for a BA/PM role but they then froze headcount. Thank you.

Trouble networking virtually; I started recently, 3 months ago. I am not sure how projects/internal moves work but I was wondering if anyone has advice on networking virtually? I am finding it tricky because I don't know anyone apart from my team & I can't view Talent Marketplace because I am on a billable project, not sure how long it will go. I enjoy my work and not looking to move just yet, I wanted to see what else is out there and looking for opportunities to network with more people.

Need some advice - been at the D for a year and have been on the same implementation project for over a year. Have a technical background and am thinking of starting to look for exits to industry but also am curious what strategy projects are and if I would be interested in the work. Is it worth networking onto a strategy project at the D or should I just continue to look for industry exists and then go b school and then try for MBB/T2 ?

So, what would you guys say are the Pros and Cons of being a Project Manager. Asking for a friend.

My memory is terrible lately. Boss and client noticed during a work dinner, asked how I keep up with my job. I felt very scolded...

SEA PAs that you admire the most in terms of “quality of projects - you want” and “leadership know what they are doing in project” => So, you like what you do in relatively sustainable way.

Just had a client FaceTime me to present because her Skype wasn’t working...that’s a new one.

Had another AD help my CW on a brief while I was on PTO for a couple of days, and is now refusing to get off the project and letting me do my job. I'm all for collaboration and appreciate the three hours he worked on it, but it's getting to the point that he's trying to steamroll me out of my own team and project by not letting me have any input on my own work. It's starting to really impact the output and dynamics. What do I do?
