No worries! They moved in because it wasnt safe in their area when covid started but its better there now than it is where i live
I moved countries by taking a job there. What PWC1 suggested would just add an idea in their mind for you to pay them rent
OP - if it’s safer where your parents used to live, I’d try to make the argument around their safety, and then add that you can’t leave because of something work-related or something so they don’t try to take you with them
