Its transaction based, not balance based. So if you go into the feature it should still let you apply the points towards recent eligible transactions. It will just issue the negative (credit or debit idk lol) to your account that offsets future charges. At least that is how it works with my CSP(not cool enough for the reserve).

Not 100% but I believe you can rack up a negative balance and after X amount of weeks of no purchases they’ll mail you a check for that amount (just like if you return something at the store) or you can just spend the credit

can confirm, this has happened to me. once the billing cycle ends (if i’m recalling correctly) you get cut a check

You'll just have a negative balance. You can either wait for Chase to cut you a credit balance refund check or call in and request one.

I’m being promoted to Manager this November but recent got offer from a fintech. In money term the manager base pay is 5k greater than the new role but i’m negotiating to match the offer with my Manager salary. Should I wait until promoted or move asap? I dont want to continue working in external audit so trying to pivot to data analyst role/IA in the fintech before moving to full DA/DS position… but thinking the Manager promotion would help negotiate salary in the future.
