Our school had also created a system in which rewards are low to no cost. Classroom end of month rewards include dress your teacher, extra recess, swap teachers for a period, costume party (Students create), etc. For individual rewards I do have a prize box but mostly students pick things like bring a stuffed animal with you to school for a day, 10 minute tech time reward, Sit with a friend for a day, etc.

We generated a list that didn’t cost anything. Our list included open gym with a friend, an additional recess with a friend, a fast pass for lunch (they get to be first in line), etc... We also had a generous business owner donate personal pizzas as a reward.

Our school’s School Site Council finds a lot of rewards. We also got some grants, and asked local businesses for donations. Then many of the teachers added no cost items like homework passes or break time. The kids favorites are the homework passes and burritos. We have a local taco shop who donates burritos to us and we let the kids “buy” them with 600 PBIS points. The order them through the week and we deliver them on fridays

We have a school store and I’m not sure where the money is budgeted from. That said, I would reach out to organizations with a letter asking for support. I’m about to send out an email example of mine to people who asked in the bowl. If you want it, please send me a dm

Somehow we got a grant for it. Not sure if specifics but I know it is strictly to be used for PBIS

Our school site council to put aside funding for this. We have a student store that opens every other Friday after school where students use the positive praise tickets they received as money to purchase things. We also have teachers that have donated items for the store.
