Does it seem too expensive when you barely use your coverage?
Do you have a hard time finding facilities that accept your coverage?
Do you find it hard to trust Insurance Agents?

I find it very hard to trust insurance agents especially those that are selling the Medicare Supplemental coverage. Some of them use shady scare tactics and that just angers me. I think supplemental insurance is important for our seniors but don’t use scare tactics to force an overly expensive plan on a senior with a fixed income. It’s predatory and as someone who has worked in medical insurance for 20 years I advocate and step in for any senior people in my life.

Have an acquaintance who is a single mom; she purchased a used car 3 mos ago. Six wks later her 17yo wrecked it, air bags deployed, and estimates have ranged between $10-$18k in needed repairs while $21k is still owed. Acquaintance was switching insurance policies and flubbed the coverage dates and there were a few days where the vehicle was uninsured. No GAP insurance. I'm not seeing many options for her besides to continue pmts, fixing just enough to drive or voluntary repo. Thoughts?

My family mistreated me when I was younger, and now that I don’t live at home, they don’t call or bother to look for me, because frankly, I think they have a hard time admitting what happened - and will never apologize to me either. If I don’t call, or occasionally go see them during the holidays, we would never talk. Some of them are growing old (health-wise), and I’m scared this entire situation is just irreparable. Has anyone ever gone through anything similar? Any advice or thoughts?

I have offers from both United Health Group and Atlassian for a Senior Financial Analyst position. Similar Comp (Atlassian slightly higher due to stock options). Coming from another healthcare company as a SFA, does anyone have experience at either company? In the long term, does Atlassian look better on a resume/work experience due to the Tech/Software space? Seems like their culture is great, but a much higher work load due to the nature of the company. Thanks! Happy to answer DM's too

Hello, does anyone work as an auto underwriter for insurance? I recently got accepted for an internal job position and was offered $50k. I believe because the company knows how much i’m making they lowballed me. Any tips on how to navigate the salary negotiation and can u share ur salary ?

Can anyone speak to using Turo to rent a second vehicle? I live in Portland OR. Assuming that’s a decent market? Long term thoughts on TDOC after ER? I was bullish on this ER and thought it would provide a leg up. They are still having issues with operating costs with the LVGO merger. Also I think the market is still viewing this as a Covid play(see ZM) and worried of declining growth. My opinion is it’s safe to enter here but it’s not going to do anything in the short term(same as ZM until they acquire someone) Of course Cathy is still buying heavy here.
