I couldn't justify at the beginning, so I stay with the parents in the past 5 years, save a lot of money. But I am at the point that I want my own place, so planning to move out this year!!! Pretty excited about it.
Spending close to $2k/month is brutal when you're never there, but I LOVE coming home. Prime location in chicago, live alone, amazing views. It's worth it considering the work we do, in my opinion
I live in Chicago and my parents live in the suburbs, if I lived at home I would never go to the office, wouldn’t network, wouldn’t go out with friends as much. So I’m very glad to be living in the city and therefore don’t care about spending the money on rent

I'm 29, zero chance I'm living w my parents. Sure I could pay $800/month to have a roommate and live in a northern neighborhood. But I work hard and therefore chose to waste money on rent ha

Sometimes you don’t have the option to live with parents, especially if you’re in a different city
