Hi all, I currently have 5 years experience as a Salesforce developer and 10 years experience as a .net developer. I also have the Platform Developer I cert. IMHO, our stint in consulting’s purpose is to develop a corporate strategy skillset. Doing CDDs is one of if not the best way to get a ton of reps and variety in our 18 - 24 month tenure.

With options among MBB, T2 incl S&, EYP, and general Big 4 / ACN MC:

- Take MBB (can ask for CDD, overall better comp package)
- Reject B4 MC (won’t get it here)
- T2 (pick other T2s if you want way more strategy projects that aren’t CDD / growth strategy)

My group has been using form 8453 for years to document e-file authorization from clients. We have recently started investigating form 8879 as an alternative since we don’t need to attach to xml when efiling. Can’t seem to find a reason why we would not be able to take this approach but want to make sure I’m not missing anything. I have a junior associate working with me on a case. I try hard to be cognizant of giving plenty of time, being available for questions, and explaining the assignments thoroughly at the outset. This associate doesn’t do the work they are assigned, but is always trying to do things no one asked them to do that don’t actually help. I’m all for empowering junior associates but it’s getting frustrating. Any advice? I don’t want to throw the associate under the bus.

Don’t want to call out of work but can’t fathom working today 💔. Lucky I’m finally in house. Left partner of 2Y yesterday.
