McKinsey & Company Interviewing at McKinsey & Company and recruiter informed me I’d be based out of “North America” and can work in any city where there’s a McK office. I’ve seen several posts here about people being assigned to a home office, even if working remotely most of the time. Curious if this more general assignment is new?

Same day as my first round via phone call

Phone call. And soon as your interviewers have had a chance to discuss your performance, usually same day or sometimes after the weekend if it was on a Friday.
It took them a week and a half to get back to me after first round… the office I interviewed with didn’t want to proceed but they offered another first round at a different office
I’m dreading it so much. I know it’s coming but I really don’t want to hear it 🥺
I relate to this comment so much. I felt like it didn’t matter how many practice cases I did. I only felt more confident and prepared by going through the real cases in real interviews, so I felt like I was getting progressively better with each one… but no more left lol so just hoping my last one was good enough
Still nothing 🥺🥺🥺 (I won’t dare ask how long offers usually take)
