Anyone experience BCG rejection email saying that they’ve reached hiring needs and that they’ll reach out in the fall for following year start date? I got this for 2023 start and just wondering whether there’s a chance this is just a rejection and should look for other jobs or whether it’s worth waiting for. What are the chances of lateraling from BCG as a principal to McK/Bain as an ~AP equivalent? I found a position in McKinsey Digital for Software Engineer position in Planetrics team. Upon searching I found Planetrics was acquired by McKinsey and this position is a part of a “client serving” team.

My question is what’s the growth like when joining McKinsey as a software engineer

Just out of curiosity, would you choose to between joining mbb or MBA at H/S. What would you do?

Question to MBB interviewers. I have a couple of interviews coming up and want to understand the process better and manage my own expectations. Could you please share your personal experience: 1/ what % of interviewees are obviously not a good fit - when after the chat you just know that they are wrong for consulting 2/ % made major mistakes in case 3/ what % are kind ok w case and fit, but are not good enough 4/% that are good enough (with minor flaws) 5/ great and you know that they will fit

I have 1 YOE in strategy consulting at a Big 4, planning to apply for BA/AC roles at MBB. I’ve read they prefer you to list test scores on the application. I’ve never taken the GMAT, so is my ACT still ok to include even though it’s nearly a decade old? 99th percentile fwiw
