I've been thinking about moving from one big 4 to another, but switching service lines within tax. I have about 2 years of experience, but wanted to try something different.

Normally I think I'd apply for experienced or senior positions, but I have no experience in the other service line I want to go to. Would it be ok for me to apply for an entry level position? I really don't mind starting over.

Planning on getting promoted soon and want to negotiate my salary but wasn’t sure if I need to show proof of another job offer/comp or can I just say I’m considering this other job that’s offering $?

How have you overcome working with a micromanager? I struggle in my current position by reporting into someone who manages everybody wayyyyy too much, and it’s too the point where it makes me hate the job.

I love the company, I love the client, I just struggle with my manager. I don’t know who to talk about it.
