When I was a freshman I go caught selling weed in my dorm and am currently a convicted felon. How detrimental will that be when I look for jobs in the finance industry?

How should I list software skills on my resume that I have familiarity with but aren’t highly skilled in? For example, used R in one class, but wouldn’t say I’m an expert. Or used Salesforce for an internship- but just to edit lead sources for new logos? Have heard to put “novice” next to these skills? How should I format that?

I am set to finish next December because I am going part time while I finish up my time in the military. I graduate this May with an BS in Industrial Engineering. Would it be super crazy to just take off 6 months and try to start working in January 2022? 3 semesters of back-to-back online college has completely drained me and I really just want to take some time off before I start working the rest of my life. Would this hurt my chances at getting a job later? I know I'll need to explain the gap in my resume but I don't think it would be an issue. Curious for professionals' opinions. Thanks!
