Wish I knew “international experience” after graduating college didnt mean much years later bc now Im stay at home mom with an MBA and cant find job 😔 I had two kids and took long break (8 years) from working to be able raise them and now I finally got myself up to look for a job and I feel so run down because all i get back is ‘found better candidate’ 🙈 Ive applied all over and I dont mind doing entry level since my experience in finance/banking overseas seems forever ago. Is it too risky to start my MBA program to explore different careers without knowing for sure which career I want to go into post-MBA? I see a lot of my incoming classmates being sure of what career they want to go into and I am totally unclear at the moment

New grad currently in a Program Manager role related to manufacturing at Apple. I have a Product Manager offer from a legacy tech company (think Cisco, Oracle, etc). Should I stick at Apple and only be willing to switch for a FAANG+ Product Manager role/try to switch to Product at Apple or go ahead and start getting experience in Product Management? I know if I decided to do an MBA working at Apple would be powerful to have on my resume for admissions.

Need advice on if it’s too old to make EP at some point. I am in Canada so it’s a longer path. Am I too old? Also - how do I skip income partner, seems most companies are pushing most folks to go through IP to goto EP. Real advice and thoughts would be welcome.

At T2 it seems like partner is given less politically and can be achieved as long as you hit the numbers.

Then they ghost or explain that they are a former SWE 😬 coming from MBB. Going to some super Niche role that people with crazy backgrounds are recruited for. Congrats, but not everyone has that background
