Hi guys I have an offer from Accenture and no issues in terms of CTC, job profile or other things. The only thing I am skeptical about is the job security. Do they really get rid of employees in a regular basis or the covid situation was a one time measure? This would probably be the last switch in my career and security would be of utmost importance to me. Please advise

I work in US Tax and had an experience of 3 year. Had got an offer of 14Lpa in another big4,but still don't feel like continuing in US Tax. As taxation is something I do feel like I don't want to make a career anymore, because of work life balance & also as it specialised. Please suggest other option worthy to make a career shift. You guidance will be extremely helpful. My highest qualification is M.com.

Is anyone here a veterinary surgeon?
I got a Boston Consulting Group employee to refer me. Got the referral link instantly but I can't seem to see any AC roles on the Job posting site. My link was some brassring referral link and it had some 807 openings but no AC roles. I have reached back to my contact to figure out what's up with this. Anyone from the firm has any idea or any candidate had a similar experience ? My referee didn't ask me for any office preference or anything just fyi.
Keep in mind that depending on your state, the insurance company is NOT your client; the insured is your client.
Then my comment may not apply. In my jurisdiction, “insurance defense” generally refers to attorneys that are paid by insurers to defend the insured when a liability policy is implicated (i.e., you are not defending the insurer, you are the “defense” that the insurer has the “right and duty” to provide when claims against the insured are arguably covered by the liability policy). If you’re actually defending the insurance company, I’d call that “coverage counsel” work.

Call your states board of professional conduct and get the advice of one of their attorneys. For Ohio, I was told the new firm must not have any current cases with your former firm that you were personally involved in. If they still have some they have to withdraw from those
cases or you have to wait until they’re over.
Thank you
