Thoughts on Zeno Group corporate team?
Tech Mahindra Hi Fishes,
I joined TCS 1.5 years back only in Oct20 as an Asso Consutlt (C3B).
in Jan22, I appeared for Tech Mah interview process and got selected as a Project Manager position, they have offered me 40% hike.
Currently I am on notice period, resigned from TCS last month but still not very convinced with my decision there is still a 2nd thought like whether should I join TechM (obviously bcoz of leaving TCS and its facilities, job security and no hire back policy).
Please guide me.

As the old saying goes, when the Army wants to get a complicated task done quickly, they give it to the laziest person in the battalion. They’ll figure out the quickest way to accomplish the task with the least effort
Imagine you’re a lazy person that has to get the product done fast. What would you do different
For example, instead of fabricating your own slides, use your companies timesaver decks to get the slide done in minutes instead of days

This is actually very solid advice. Thanks.
A few questions for you:
Do you like the work that you are doing?
Do you feel energized and supported by your company?
Is your job the right fit for your personality?
If the answer to these questions is yes, then speak to your colleagues who are doing the same work to see what they are doing to be more organized with their work. There are lots of tools out there to help you be more efficient.
If the answer is no, it may be time to reassess your career and make a change. Do not tolerate a job that is eating you alive.
Career change is easier than you think. Good luck!
Work hard and make some one else rich… no thanks…why should I break my back and have nothing to show for it. Getting paid jack shit for a chance to work your dream job is no dream of mine. I’d rather work even harder and be my own boss then working for some asshole who wants me to make content that doesn’t align with my core values.
In Plato’s allegory of the cave, you can keep watching shadow puppets on the wall never questioning reality or turn around look for light at the end of the tunnel.
The Illuminati or “the educated public” would like you to believe you need your tv, Netflix, Amazon, Uber and Starbucks and must be connected to
the grid at all times with electrical sockets in every place that you rent, when in reality the machine is a modern day slavery, the whip the chains are just replaced with technological mind control. Human civilization has never had such technology till now to control people.
Another good suggestion is to learn to say no and/or delegate. If a task or ask doesn't directly align with your stated goals, then you aren't the right person to be asking. Many people don't consider the workload or responsibilities of others, and only want to help themselves.
In that same vein, not all emails need to be responded to. Them asking doesn't obligate you to respond if it's truly out of scope for your role/scope.
Avoid meetings especially recurring ones and ignore small tasks then spend the time going deep on the important one you need to get done.
Say no to more things.

The path to not being so invested starts within. Why do you feel like you need to invest the effort? I personally learned that I became a workaholic because it was my way of escaping a bad childhood home and because it became a matter of survival/sanity for me to work so much growing up and in college, it became very ingrained- I genuinely get anxious when I have downtime. But, working through some of the childhood trauma actually really helped me to be kinder to myself and not keep grinding down.
