How does the rising inflation we’re seeing impact the M&A market?

Has anyone had something “slightly less urgent” dragging on their to do list for months and finally got it done? I feel so relieved and fulfilled and ready to celebrate.

Currently interviewing with Amazon for an associate corporate counsel role. After the first round, I was quickly moved on to the written exercise but its now been a month since I submitted it and I haven’t received any update on my application despite following up with HR once. Wondering if anyone is in a similar boat and whether I should just write it off as a refusal… if anyone here works at Amazon, would be helpful to know if this is common. Thanks!
