Deloitte Consulting London SC salary?
In my opinion title inflation is rampant. Directors without teams. Managers without direct reports. Companies with a COO of every major operating group.
I worked at a firm where 80% of Managers and Senior Managers were individual contributors. Didn’t get into “real” middle management until Associate Director. I also worked at a firm where Senior Consultants were all managers and even had sales targets.
Title inflation … like how “Senior Managers” at American Express starts at 80K
Exactly. When VP is a bottom level manager, you know it’s bad
Description sounds like an individual contributor role responsible for various project management, analysis, reporting etc.
I guess doesnt seem like it is an actual director role in the traditional sense of owning teams/functions.
It is an actual director role, or a high-level thinker/doer and perhaps lead a small team?
It’s called companies have good lawyers who will find ways of getting around this salary transparency issue
Ehhh they’re probably not looking to hire T2 strategists for the role.
Ops role.
Operations management doesn't typically pay that well from my experience.
That’s typical. My director role had me at $120k
I'd be more concerned if it misaligned with the expected experience requirements. 10 years experience, ummm no thanks to that salary
I misread that as $100M lol
What if it’s 50% equity TC
Met a "finance director" at a small business being acquired. Her pay was a bit north of $100k. But for someone in NV with a bachelors degree and a few years of experience, that was great. Titles may range significantly between companies and industries.
Pretty standard for a generic “director” level role in a standard business.
It’s a small part of their overall business. Plus sometimes people list TC vs base. Definition of “salary” is not always the most clear.
