I have been in my position for 27 years and have never seen such a state of affairs as I have this year (but then, with the pandemic, who has, right?) Well, long story short, we've gone hybrid (some in person, some online). The teacher has been out with surgeries and covid. I have been teaching both groups at the same time. Sometimes a sub for help, sometimes not. I love the kids, but really?

The CDC doesn’t give tax advice, so I don’t think accountants should speculate on medical advice.
The issue is there is a lot more than just medical issues at stake here and we need to balance everything - so the opinion of those with business and economic experience also play a part in the calculus of how we handle this pandemic
Lmao, great. op probably lives in Florida or Texas. Keep thinking it’s “smoke and mirrors”manager 1. Also, South Korea has shown that herd immunity isn’t a thing since people have gotten it twice
A2 - There are different strains of the flu and the vaccine is for different types of influenza viruses. If you can get reinfected as PwC 1 claims (against all scientific evidence thus far), then a vaccine wouldn’t work at all.

Deloitte - rescinds hire offer from Harvard grad for threatening remarks.
Also Deloitte - hires this fool.
There only two ways for us to get herd immunity. One, we immunize the population with a vaccine. Two, we expose the population to the virus and the ones who survive will develop immunity. If we go with two, the economy will continue to tank as the population will either be fighting off the effects of the disease or dealing with their friends/family who may be experiencing more severe effects, meanwhile hospitals will be overcapacity.
Tell me how a company is supposed to be more productive when they have a whole plant, warehouse, store, or office floor infected.
Harvard grads go to Deloitte? 😱
I agree. Starting to think this is all just smoke and mirrors.
That is litterally the opposite of a Karen...

Oh, how novel and innovative! We definitely haven't discussed this 1,000 times already.

We don't even have a definite answer to if we can catch covid twice. Untill we have that answer isn't talk of herd immunity nothing more than an intriguing thought experiment?
With younger people catching it this go around, the deaths should be lower, which is good...
