HCL Technologies Hi Fishes? Need help!
Regarding offer letter, I got a mail of salary structure from my HR but it's been 2 weeks , he is kept saying that the issue is regarding some portal issue due to which they are not able to roll out offer letter.
Can anyone confirm that is it an excuse or genuine reason?
Cause I don't think any companies portal may take that long.
Please advice

Why do you feel like you need to ask before your review? I would wait until you're in the review and see what they actually say. Sometimes you get praise and then the review doesn't reflect that. So I'd want to the know the formal assessment. Six months is pretty early, so maybe just see how the review goes. If all is well, bring it up then?
I’d say after 7 am. :)
Anything prior to 6 months for sure
Anything before 1 year I’d say. Many companies also have hard promotion cycles 2 times per year.
prolly depends on industry/role/company
only time it works for eng is typically a dive and save.
I think when you have shown significant performance, you can. it does depend on industry and size and stage of company though. at a startup you might have more leverage if you make impact early. at a larger company, it will be more difficult to.
I did in 90 days, but it was discussed when I was hired I'd come in at one salary and re-evaluate in 90 days...jumped up 10K
