Anyone moved from Big 4 to Bain & co ? I am tech focussed, Sr developer with Cloud skills and Venturing into personal AI projects. What opportunities are out there in Bain & co ?

Got reached out for a role at big 4 again for which I didn’t clear the final round last time. Played along with the recruiter and now they want me to interview with the same MD as final round let time 😂

How can you land a place in big 4 with little experience? Graduate route or experienced professionals?

Can anyone provide insight on the internal audit/risk advisory services at the big 4 firms? I am interested in understanding more about work life balance, busy season (hours and length of season), hours during off season and the kind of client work done during off season. I am an experienced senior and almost finished my CIA.

Currently work for one of the Big 4 in HR (& Benefit, Payroll) strategy, transformation, and related work. My background has largely been HCM implementations, though it's been 3 - 4 years since my last one.
Looking for thoughts about what it takes to become independent.
1. If I want to go through an agency or someone who places independents, how do I find them (other than Google)?
2. How do I find out about rates I should charge? What about requirements such as insurance?

So I left B4 risk assurance because I found the work a drag and moved to a boutique place where I was hoping to get a better experience or shape my career the way I want.

However, this place isn’t what I was expecting and the project I’m on requires deadly hours and is staff aug. I’m looking to do this for a year and go back to b4 (as I like being in a bubble) but a different service line. How possible is this?
