How far ahead of your application year did you take the GRE/GMAT? I’m 23 now, probably won’t be going for a masters for at least another 2-4 years, but I feel like I actually have some time to study. Does it help your application to have scores from within a year of applying or is it fine as long as they’re still valid?

Take it now while you have time to prepare. Scores are good for 5 years.

They just need to be valid. Study while you have the time

I took the GMAT towards the end of my last semester of college. So glad I did because I would have definitely struggled with motivation studying while working full time during the pandemic

I’m studying now, and have heard that it’s ideal to just get it done as early as possible. You don’t want to be trying to complete apps and still studying (on top of working full time). If you have the time now, just go for it, since you probably won’t have the same level of free time again as you do now

Do not wait - do it now. You recently graduated and are used to taking standardized tests - you don’t realize it but those skills get rusty as you get immersed in work. Not a huge deal- but why do that? Also - best to have your scores behind you so you can fully focus on your essays (and have a realistic picture of where you are likely to get in...). Take it 3 times unless you get a 750 or higher right out of the gate.

Hi all, I have a interview on Saturday for Node js... Any idea what all can be asked. My yeo is 3 yrs.

I want to switch role as an AWS developer. But I have just learnt the things on my own in AWS. In interview I am asked questions based on real scenarios on which I am not having any experience. Any suggestions? Even if I do hands on on services like Linux academy or quiklabs, it would not help. (AWS cloud migration experience one can get if worked on a real project). Please help.

Hi everyone! I’m a young CPA, relocating to Raleigh. I made the decision to transition into sales after realizing that I want to bring more fun into my career. I’m currently reading sales books, watching Keenan’s YouTube channel, and learning all I can. I’m relentlessly applying for SDR positions but I’m having trouble landing interviews (been applying through LinkedIn). I would appreciate advice from anyone who transitioned from another industry into sales. How did you break the barrier?

So I had my final interview yesterday in the industry (it was more so a 20 min convo with their CIO). Is it too early to follow up? I would never be pushy but I have another offer that I’m sitting on (as I would prefer the job that I interviewed for yesterday) so I need an answer asap

How do you guys schedule your hours? Say I need to hit 200 hours per month. Currently I take the amount of working days in a month (M-F) and divide it by 200 to get how many hours I need to bill per day. For example, May has 20 working days, so I need to bill 10hrs./day M-F. I’ve done exactly that thus far and have been able to stick to a pretty consistent schedule. But I know a lot work on weekends. For instance, if I worked Saturdays too there are 25 billable days which means 8hrs/day.
